for peanut butter and jam sandwiches on rye bread with the filling all the way to the edges, for potato salad, for puffy white clouds in a bright blue sky, for green grass, for buds on the trees, for spring coming soon, for when the snow finally goes away, for a pile of good books, for brown sugar and butter, or cinnamon toast, for smoothies, for NYPD BLUE reruns, for a red vase on the kitchen counter, for the messes my children make, for my children coming home every day for lunch, for cookies in the cookie jar, for Alphaghetti and buttered toast, for antique white, for computers!, for beaches, for sunshine, for home and for away….
