today i am grateful for…

for being too busy to watch TV, for a great sleep making a great day even easier, for a walk in the fresh air now that the cold snap is ending, for the smell of fresh baked banana bread in the house, for my little girl playing quietly upstairs at lunch, for happiness, for the new clothes i bought yesterday, especially the black tshirt because i like the sleeves, for remembering to email a friend before she leaves on her vacation today, for my son’s strong sense of self, for his confidence, for his never back down spirit, for not letting the public school system turn him into a Stepford Child, for hockey games, for my dad and my brother, for how happy my kids are when they see their extended family, for a glass of wine being okay, for patience, for Vancouver 2010, for falling asleep on the couch while watching TV, for Dan falling asleep too, for….
