today i am grateful for …
for my little girl’s do-over birthday, for a picnic in the park, for sunshine, for dragon flies, for cleaning up the strange little mess that has begun to take over the kitchen, for my husband, for faith in the thing i have faith in, for a reminder to remember that faith from time to time, for kangaroos, for electric toothbrushes, for trying at least one new recipe every week, for not having time this week, for being a busy mom, for writing my novel and how good it feels when it goes well, for how bad it feels when it doesn’t, for the in between times, for a mostly healthy diet, for moments of quiet, for Big Brother starting last night!, for bathing suits, for beaches, for fishies, for a good night’s sleep, for exercise!, for ice cream sandwiches, for a drive through a familiar part of town, for books waiting to be read, for books waiting to be written, for pilates, for pedicures with my daughter yesterday!, for pretty pretty toes, for….
