today i am grateful for…

for my home budget app for the iPhone, for keeping track of what we spend on groceries and figuring out how to spend less, for a beautiful sunshiney summer day, for patience, for water water water go drink some water, for our crazy new workout plan!, for forging ahead, for remembering the difference between people who matter and people who don’t, for stillness at least ten minutes every day, for school pictures of my kids on the side tables in the family room, for the craft store today!, for promising myself an early night tonight, for knowing i probably won’t hit the hay before midnight, for the fact that one of our printers works at least some of the time, for my daughter’s stuffed penguin on the kitchen island, for change being not just good but essential and exciting, for new projects, for new friendships, for healthy eating!, for three super balls on the carpet in front of me, for the option to take five when i need five, for not needing to very often, for banana mango smoothies, for the walk i took around our old neighbourhood yesterday!, for our old house, for its old crookedy fence, for….
