today i am grateful for…
for waking up to sunshine, for new friendships, for the pretty ring i bought last night at a friend’s jewelry party, for frozen watermelon and putting it in our smoothies at lunch later, for last night, for the new iPhone 4.0 update, for the school year being very nearly over, for summertime!, for opening our minds to new possible places to live, for peanuts in the shell, for tea today instead of coffee, for the unexpected news that the people moving in next door might have 2 kids and one of them might be a girl my daughter’s age!, for teapot shopping, for when things are new, for cuddles instead of shouting, for extending the olive branch of kindness, for how little it costs to do so and for how immeasurable the effect, for being Canadian and living in Canada, for getting to watch a bit of Wimbledon this morning!, for exploring our options, for the excitement of a new idea, for not knowing what the future will bring, for cream cheese and veggie sammiches on multigrain bread, for toothbrushes, for a man made of marshmallows, for….

TOTALLY for the school year almost over. And yay on the maybe new neighbours with a little girl Maddie’s age!
