today i am grateful for….

for coffee with a very good friend, for the lousy cup of coffee i had even though it was lousy, for the whip cream on top, for chocolate curls on top, for my friend’s little girl who is seriously about as adorable as little girl can be, for brown sugar more than white sugar, for this pink t-shirt i’m wearing right now, for letting go, for realizing when it’s time to let go, for trust, for long long long walks on a beautiful day, for peanut butter and jam, for the school year almost over and for hopefully we won’t be getting Miss P again!, for it’ll be okay even if we get Miss P again because it can be easier to dance with the devil you know, for options, for bird feeders, for the places in the world where bears do not live! for pretty pretty things, for creative people and for when they do not let fear keep them from sharing their creativity, for going one whole entire day without eating a single potato chip, for here’s hoping today isn’t gonna be one such day!, for being able to work at home and be here with the people i love in the environment i am most happy, for green and pink and purple things growing in my back yard, for….
