today i am grateful for…

for getting it done, for staying focused, for remembering to do yoga to counter the effects of getting it done and staying focused, for water, for pretty things, for chirpybirds outside the window all day long, for my fridge with ice and water, for windows, for shiny bathroom sinks!, for feeling hungry, for pretend purple hair, for great ideas, for brand new credit cards, for not using the brand new credit cards, for neighbours, for sitting down after standing all day, for hotels with water slides, for the good people in my children’s lives, for promises made, for promises kept, for promises adjusted so that they can be kept, for when children surprise you with a perfect sense of logic, for the school year almost over, for end of year field trips and getting to go with!, for planning teacher gifts, for a glass of wine with dinner, or not, for snuggles, for toenails without polish, for toenails with polish even more, for my kids getting bank accounts and bank cards for the first time yesterday!, for the view from where i am sitting as we speak, for…
