for not being at the grocery store anymore, for the chips and dip i bought when i was at the grocery store, for eating those chips and dip later after my exercise class, for chips and dip!, for monkeys, for losing my bank card, for sarcasm, for green green grass, for electric toothbrushes, for remembering to buy toothpaste, oh wait, i didn’t remember, for it being okay that i forgot to buy toothpaste, for brown sugar on oatmeal, for my kids not being in spring sports this year and getting to stay home when everyone else is out in the rain, for hahahahahaha!, for reading in the car while i’m waiting for the kids after school, for my kids being old enough to find me on their own, for my cozy happy home, for my little girl’s little voice, for lime green, for the new Indian take-away that just opened up by the mall, for the Indian food my husband makes being better than anyone’s, for my friend Chandra often being the voice of reason i need, for watercress even though i don’t think i’ve ever had watercress, for the questions my kids ask, for early to bed tonight, for the fact that even though i said that i’ll probably stay up late, for dinner out with my friends, for writing today, for writing tomorrow, for bananas, for a seriously good back rub, for a seriously good back rub on the beach in the sunshine, for vacations!, for hot vacations in winter, for memories, for….
