today i am grateful for…

for friendship, for letting myself be a little lazy when i’m a little sick, for the kids playing outside with their friends, for notebooks even though i could do everything digitally, for needing to do laundry and making a thousand excuses to not do laundry, for being me, for funny people who don’t have to be mean to make you laugh, for my brothers, for the idea of apple pie even though i don’t actually like to eat it, for only 3 months left of school!, how did it go by so fast!, for clear nail polish on manicured fingernails, for a monthly bikini wax, for pretty shoes, for shopping in the spring being so different from shopping at any other time, for day trips, for ordinary being whatever is ordinary to you at the time, for learning about places i didn’t know existed, for falling down, for getting back up, for not being afraid to fall down again, for just remembering that i need to pay our car insurance!
