today i am grateful for…

for chirpybirds in the morning sunshine, for neighbours home, for kids at school, for an almost real workday, for everyone over for Easter dinner last night, for it being okay that the lemon curd tart i made sucked, for laughing it off and not making excuses, for picking up my kids in a few minutes, for when they tell me about their day and reconnect with me, for wanting to know them, for liking who they are, for flipflops again, for a blue sky with big white fluffy clouds outside the window right now, for wearing all black today and thinking wow you look skinny every time i see myself in the mirror, for the magic that is wearing all black, for ordering prints from our vacation, for ordering photo books of this vacation and the one from last year, for vacations!, for family photos, for not hiding from them anymore because that’s just dumb, for unexpected kindness, for remembering to take a photo of the day, for….
