iPhone app review: vision board (by happy tapper)

If you have been living anywhere other than under a rock then you’ve heard about the vision board concept made famous by The Secret. The idea is that by the Law of Attraction we each bring to us those things we focus on most.

By this theory, if you expose yourself to those things you want out of life – a new car, a happy marriage, a yearly vacation, a creative life and so on – your subconscious, along with the universe at large, will then take over and create the ‘how’ of making those things a reality.

Do vision boards work?

Absolutely! We each have the power to control our own outcome. Our lives are a direct result of those things uppermost in our thoughts. So why not think about the life you want to have? The person you want to be? A vision board can be an excellent tool in helping make your life the one you want it to be, defined by you.

You can create a vision board using tape and a wall, thumbtacks and a cork board or, if you are an electronic enthusiast, you can download the Vision Board iPhone App from Happy Tapper for $0.99. Happy Tapper has created a pretty, easy to use app that is well worth a buck.

what’s best about it
~ It’s customizable. The 7 existing categories can be renamed, added on to or deleted to suit your vision, your dreams and goals.

~It looks good. Let’s be honest, a good looking app beats out a clunky one every time. The cork board and thumbtack appearance is fantastic.

~Easy to us. Adding new thoughts or images to your vision board is quick and painless.

~Options. Vision Board offers three options for adding items to your board:
1. Add Photo: select an image from your photo gallery. I like to find an image using safari on my iPhone, take a screen shot and then upload      the image from my photo gallery. Talk about an easy way of getting the ideas you want onto your vision board!
2. Add Message: choose from 5 message paper designs such as Sticky Note, Grid paper and Star label for adding motivational thoughts or quotes.
3. Valentina Design: Choose from many uplifting designs by artist Valentina Ramos for a special addition to your vision board.

what’s not so great about it
~There is nothing bad to say about Happy Tapper’s Vision Board application. If you are looking for a fun, easy way to create a tangible vision of your future I recommend this app, available through iTunes. I love my Vision Board and use it every day!
