iPhone app review: TiltShift Generator

If you have an iPhone you have no doubt downloaded several applications designed to improve the quality of photographs taken with the onboard camera. Some you’ve paid for, some were free, and none measured up to what was promised.

Until now. Art & Mobile have come up with an application for the iPhone that will turn those grainy washed out photos you usually get from your phone into ones you’d be proud to show off. The design of the app is sleek and easy to use which an app ought to be, if it can. But more than that, it has to do what it promises, especially if you’ve paid for it. In this case, TiltShift Generator comes through and is worth every one of those 99 pennies it takes to make it a part of your photography library. Although, that library will probably get a good thinning out once you’ve tried TSG.

Here are a couple of examples taken with my iPhone today. Photos on the left were taken with the iPhone onboard camera while those on the right were taken and adjusted using TimeShift Generator.
